Our accessibility goals
TypiiTest should aim to:
- use clear headings and readable structure;
- support keyboard navigation;
- keep forms and typing tools understandable;
- provide visible focus states;
- use sufficient colour contrast;
- avoid relying only on colour to communicate meaning;
- write clear link text;
- include helpful alt text for meaningful images;
- keep pages usable on mobile and desktop.
Typing tool accessibility
Typing tools should be designed so users can understand where to type, how to start, how results are shown, and what errors mean. Where possible, tool interactions should work with the keyboard and not require unnecessary mouse use.
Known limitations
Some features may be improved over time as TypiiTest grows. If login, progress tracking, ads, embedded scripts, or third-party tools are added, they should be checked for accessibility impact.
How to report an accessibility issue
If you experience an accessibility barrier, please use the Contact page and include:
- the page URL;
- what you were trying to do;
- what went wrong;
- your device/browser if you are comfortable sharing it;
- any assistive technology used, if relevant.
Do not include sensitive personal information.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing practice. TypiiTest should review important pages and tool screens after major design, plugin, or content changes.
