TypiiTest content should be:
- original and useful;
- clear enough for beginners;
- specific rather than generic;
- honest about limitations;
- connected to practical next steps;
- updated when website features or guidance change.
What we avoid
We avoid inflated promises, misleading rankings, fake guarantees, copied content, keyword-stuffed pages, and advice that treats one typing score as a complete measure of a person’s ability.
Typing benchmarks
Typing speed ranges on TypiiTest are general guidance, not strict judgments. A “good” typing speed depends on age, experience, task, device, language, accessibility needs, and purpose.
Practice text standards
Practice texts should be appropriate, original where possible, and useful for real typing skills. They should not include sensitive personal data, copyrighted passages copied without permission, or content that is unsuitable for learners.
Corrections
If an error is found, TypiiTest should correct it promptly when practical. Users can report mistakes through the Contact page.
Advertising and editorial independence
Advertising should not determine the educational guidance on TypiiTest. Ads, if present, should not be placed in a way that misleads users or interferes with typing tools.
Review cycle
Core typing test, lesson, and policy pages should be reviewed periodically, especially after tool changes, privacy changes, or user feedback.
